I believe that the solution for the Palestinian-Israeli issue, is not necessarily a political one. And (because of the so-called proxy competition in Palestine/Israel/Canaan), neither it is necessarily/completely a solution from inside.
And I also believe the people can circumvent the issue, and make the politicians follow them.
I pray for the day that both the Arabic speaking and Hebrew Speaking populations learn to focus on common interests, rather than common positions. And I pray for them to considers themselves 'all children of Canaan'.

Collective activities (charity and relief organizations, athletic contests among several mixed Arab-Jewish teams, encouraging eco-NGOs, student-led reforestation/natural habitat restoration/soil amelioration/GHG reduction campaigns, etc.) can help.
Moderate/liberal groups can initiate a de-radicalization and de-ideologization process in all sides with the application of hermeneutics and fuzzy logic and other tools.
It may be a good and inspiring idea to organize a mixed Jewish-Arab or multi-cultural relief group, with an international humanitarian mission, to aid the Somalian kids exposed to gangster bullets and Filipino mothers surrounded by flood, as well as the Jewish victims of of suicide/shahada operations and civilian Arab victims of the Army raids. I guess it can create another line of stories.
Awareness of common ancestry of Arabic and Hebrew languages, can make some people wonder: "so why did all these happen"?
By writing novels and producing games with enmity-turned-to-friendship themes, making entertainment movies encouraging mixed marriages/communities, and/or about the civilizations collapsed as the result of the endless/baseless hostilities, introducing innovative architectural forms with the impression of unity and diversity, designing pedestrian friendly, human-contact-oriented urban places, cross-cultural replica gardens, as well as organizing/facilitating multilateral philosophical and theosophical dialogues instead of conventional bipolar religious debates, human beings can help their fellow human beings in that territory/country/land, to embrace a life that every creature of God/Allah/Khoda/Yahweh deserves...
